ich hab zwar kein Apple-Produkt, aber die Werbung von denen spricht mich mehr als u.a. die von Microsoft an; bspw. die "Get a Mac"-Kampagne mit den zwei Typen, die Mac und PC personifizieren (Hello, I´m a Mac - And I´m a PC...), oder die "Think different"-Kampagne: witzig, teilweise selbst-ironisch, regt zum Denken an. Nicht so bieder, ernst, oft langweilig und selbstüberzeugt wie bei Microsoft. Dass über Microsoft ungleich öfter vergleichsweise negativ berichtet wird (Bugs, Bugs, Bugs, Viren, Sicherheitslücken, Monopol uswusf.), gereicht Apples Medienpräsenz sicherlich zum Vorteil, zumal deren Produkte oft minimalistisch designt sind, und obwohl oder gerade weil die Mehrzahl der Mediennutzer Apple-Produkte (und ihre möglicherweise vorhandenen Tücken) praktisch nicht kennt. Und dann diese lächerliche quasi-religiöse Verehrung von Steve Jobs...
Der Mann weiß ja, was er tut. Immerhin hat er mit der Gründung von Pixar dafür gesorgt, dass er neben seinem Verdienst an Apple auch noch größter Einzelaktionär von Disney wurde - dafür muss man ihm Respekt zollen, der Mann weiß, wie man Erfolg haben kann.
Ich werde letztlich nie willentlich ein Produkt von Apple haben wollen, da mir der Konsum von Unterhaltungsmedien außerhalb von Zuhause nichts bedeutet und ich daheim lieber einen Windows-PC habe, rein aus Gewohnheit und Abwärtskompatibilität.
Perfekt ist natürlich keines der beiden Syteme (Windows und MacOS).

Bei Apple mag alles recht nett ausschaun, und geil verbaut sein, aber die Preise sind auch nicht ohne. Zudem, dieser Hype....naja wers mag.

dass ich den Hype um Apple und diese quasi-religiöse Verehrung Jobs´teilweise als lächerlich empfinde, soll nicht implizieren, ich würde Steve Jobs und Apple verachten oder geringschätzen: so gut kenne ich die nicht, dass ich mir ein negatives Urteil erlauben könnte. ich halte es vielmehr für bewundernswert, mit welcher Begeisterung und Kreativität sie über Jahrzehnte hinweg ihrem eigenen Stil treubleiben, neue Unterhaltungsmedien und u.a. Computer entwickeln, und wie es ihnen gelingt, über Jahrzehnte hinweg mehr und mehr Kunden für sich zu gewinnen. Der Hype und die Verehrung sagen vermutlich mehr über die Menschen aus, die sich dieser quasi-religiösen Verehrung anschließen, dass sie bereit sind, viel Geld für Apple-Produkte auszugeben, die - abgesehen von der Verpackung, dem Gehäusedesign und der Bewerbung - technisch kaum mehr als Konkurrenzprodukte zum selben Preis bieten - oft sogar weniger (bspw. die MacBooks, die mir zwar in puncto Gehäusedesign und Gewicht gefallen würden, aber im Hinblick auf die vergleichsweise geringe technische Ausstattung oft das Doppelte oder Dreifache als Notebooks kosten. Aufgrund ihrer vielfach fehlenden Kompatibilität zu Nicht-Apple-Software und der vergleichsweise horrenden Preise kommt für mich ein Kauf nicht infrage).

dann ergreif die Gelegenheit, indem du deine Entdeckung, deine Freundin, schnellstmöglich patentierst - nicht, dass dir Steve Jobs zuvorkommt ;). Es heißt nämlich, Jobs habe sich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen bis auf Weiteres zurückgezogen. Nicht dass sie bald Apple iFreundin heißt, sondern nach wie vor Freds Freundin bleibt.

Die Angst besteht natürlich ständig, aber ich habe erst kürzliche ein Geschäft abgeschlossen, welches mir das Imperium auf ewig vom Hals schafft....
