Wo ist dein Problem?
Mein Problem ist einerseits, dass es sich um mindestens 35.000 Soldaten handelt, das sind nicht ein paar, dass sind gottverdammte fünfundreißigtausend, und andererseits, dass er erzählt, sie würden jetzt ganz andere Aufgaben übernehmen. Dass was er da als neue Aufgaben aufzählt ist - nahezu Wort für Wort - mit dem identisch, was Bush in einer Rede vor einigen Jahren erzählt hat, dass die neue Aufgabe der Soldaten sei.
Einer seiner Mitarbeiter hat in einem Interview sogar gesagt, dass der Unterschied sei, dass sie ab dem Zeitpunkt (August 2010?) nicht mehr als "Combat-Troups" bezeichnet würden. Ich bin begeistert, sagte ich doch :)
Es wird sicherlich trifftige Gründe für die Entscheidung geben, die bisher noch nicht näher benannt wurden. Ich bezweifle einfach, dass Obama zu den Politikern gehört, die nach dem Machtsantritt all ihre Vorsätze über Bord werfen.
